Rayan Cherki is forced into forced rest. The Lyon member suffers from a thigh injury, contracted during Les Gones’ last match against FC Nantes.
The player complains of hamstring tendonitis requiring a few days of rest, according to examinations taken in Lyon. Cherki went to Clairefontaine to have his injury noted by Gérald Baticle’s staff this Monday. The problem has been confirmed.
Homecoming delayed for Cherki
Cherki will therefore not participate in the Bleuets’ opposition against Cyprus in the Euro Espoirs qualifiers. News which must sadden him, he who was happy to find the tricolor jersey after having missed the previous gathering.
