During the draw between Liverpool and Manchester City (1-1), Skyblues goalkeeper Ederson (30) was injured. During a poorly supported back pass from Nathan Aké, the Brazilian goalkeeper mowed down Darwin Nunez in the area, causing the penalty leading to the Reds’ equalizer. Except that the goalkeeper remained on the ground for some time, hit in the knee during the collision, before being replaced by Stefan Ortega.
And the first news is not reassuring for Ederson. There BBC reports that the Brazilian will miss the FA Cup encounter against Newcastle on Saturday at home, and the title clash against Arsenal on March 31. In the meantime, he will remain rested during the international break, not being able to play with the Seleção.
