The Undertaker has some praise for the way Triple H is handling his new role backstage at WWE.

On the latest episode of Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, the WWE Hall of Famer talked about the difference in the backstage environment with Triple H in charge instead of Vince McMahon.

“I think Triple H is doing an amazing job,” The Undertaker said. “He’s changing the game, and he’s doing it calmly. I’m not I’m not around, obviously, like I used to be. When I was working full-time or even when I wasn’t working full-time, it was just so chaotic.

“Because the Rumble itself is put together, and it’s a complicated deal. It really is complicated. But there was always this tendency last minute for things to get changed. Now you’ve got something in your mind for a couple of hours now. Like, okay, this is what we’re trying to achieve. This is how we’re going to get there.

“And then somebody…SOMEBODY decides now they want to change it. And now all this thought you’ve put into how you’re going to do this now has been changed, and oh no, it’s ten minutes till go time and it changes everything. Then it just becomes chaotic because it’s such a high-pressure situation.”

The current WWE backstage atmosphere is too calm for The Deadman

When asked if he believes Triple H is just a calm person naturally, Taker said he’s never seen him yell at talent. And while he personally doesn’t care for the chill vibe, he thinks Hunter’s approach is perfect for this time in the industry.

“I mean, I’ve seen him get worked up, but I haven’t seen him yell at talent,” The Undertaker said. “I haven’t seen him bad mouth anybody. There’s been times where you come back through the curtain, and you know that the ass-chewing is coming. I haven’t seen that with him. I haven’t been around a whole lot, but I’ve been around enough, and I know him well enough I can just tell.

“There is such a chill vibe. For me, I almost don’t like it because it’s almost too calm. And this is just me on the outside looking in is like they don’t care enough. And it’s not that. It’s just the atmosphere. I think because that roster is so young, that kind of person that can nurture like he can, I think, is perfect for this time period in the industry.”
