The Undertaker thinks people will be really entertained by WWE LFG.
In December, WWE and A&E announced the upcoming debut of “WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats)”, which was described as “a new competition series that features in-ring matches along with a behind-the-scenes look at rising talent vying for a coveted WWE contract while being mentored by WWE Legends such as Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Booker T.” The show is set to premiere in early 2025.
Speaking on his Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway podcast, The Undertaker discussed filming the show.
“I got so crazy busy between doing the podcast and then shooting the show in Orlando,” he said. “Yeah, LFG, man, it’s gonna be a really cool…I can’t get much into the details, but it’s gonna give you a look into the process a little bit of creating a WWE superstar, sort of from the ground up, from ground zero on up to making it to NXT.
“It’s been a lot of fun, but it has been a workload that I’m not used to, a little bit of a grind. I thought my grinding days were behind, but making that trip every week to Orlando…it’s really been fun. It’s kind of put me in a different atmosphere, a different element, and the show, man, I think people are gonna be really, really entertained by the show.”
The Undertaker On Being Involved
The Undertaker then noted that WWE LFG kept him involved in the product, and he has enjoyed being part of it.
“A little. It’s just a different process, and it keeps me involved in the product in a creative way, so again, all those aspects of it have been really enjoyable. It’s just the travel that’s really sucked. I went to Florida, shot LFG, then went right onto the road and did my 1 deadMAN SHOWs.
“Fortunately, that was in Texas, so I got to finish up the last night of the 1 deadMAN tour in Austin, so that was good to be able to drive home and then shut down for a while. To go back into the grind of things again…it’s been good. I wish I could say I missed it [laughs], but it’s okay. I’ve got a renewed energy now.”
