The Undertaker’s dedication to putting his body on the line for fans’enjoyment has earned him legendary status, though it comes with its drawbacks. Due to his passion for the business, The Deadman once cussed out the entire WWE locker room.

In 2008, WWE toured Australia and New Zealand. The Deadman participated in a sold-out show, generating over $1 million. Yet, he was unimpressed by his co-workers’ apparent lack of effort.

While speaking on Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, The Undertaker mentioned addressing the roster about their performance. He recalled asking Fit Finlay for permission and proceeded to passionately express his disappointment in their lack of effort and pride during a 30 to 40-minute session.

“I remember asking Fit Finlay, who was our road agent, producer at the time, I said, ‘Fit, you mind if I talk to everybody?’ I was gonna do it either way, but I’d give him the respect of how I was gonna do it. He goes, ‘No, absolutely,’ so we got everybody together in a room. The next 30 to 40 minutes, I proceeded to cuss and lambast that whole roster for their lack of effort and pride in themselves. Oh, man, it was bad.”

The Phenom recalled wrestling in the same building during low attendance periods. He noted that fellow veterans in the locker room agreed with his sentiments about wrestlers’ effort levels. They understood the importance of giving their all, even in challenging times, to create memorable nights and ensure packed arenas for future events.

“Yeah, they knew I was right! They knew. They know exactly… ….Everybody was exhausted. You just don’t have those kind of [sold out] nights. That kinda night for me was like, wow, I’ve been here and this place nearly be empty. Yeah, I’m tired, I’m really tired, but, man, I’m gonna give it everything I got because I want this place to look like this the next time we come back.”

The Undertaker previously mentioned facing accusations of ruining people’s childhoods. Nonetheless, The Phenom will have an opinion when it comes to the current generation of professional wrestlers and that is not changing anytime soon.
