The Undertaker wants to see politics borrow from pro wrestling in a straightforward way.
Donald Trump was the guest on this week’s episode of the Six Feet Under podcast. During the conversation, Trump asked about wrestlers going into business for themselves, and Undertaker said that wrestler would probably lose their jobs if it happened.
“What we do is hard enough, but if you go in there and start taking liberties with somebody and starting trouble and fights, you’re not going to be around long,” The Undertaker said. “You have to have a cohesive unit of guys. You don’t have to like each other — it’s like politics. You don’t have to like each other, but you have to be professional enough to work with each other.”
Trump then asked if Taker liked some of his colleagues more than others.
“A lot of the guys I’m really close with, and then there’s some guys I don’t care much for. But it’s kinda like the way I wish politics would get back to,” The Undertaker continued. “I may not agree with you, but I can share a dressing room with you, I can shake your hand and we can do business. And that’s how it is. There’s some guys that you naturally gravitate towards and become friends with, and I had a group of guys that we [got along and hung out together].”
