Whoopi Goldberg took to The View to blast a “phony” AI weight loss ad running on social media that is using her image to promote the product.

The ABC talk show host denounced the ad and warned viewers not to fall for the false advertisement, reiterating what she actually did to lose weight.

“I’m giving everybody a heads up,” Goldberg said on the morning show on Wednesday, February 5. “There is a phony weight loss ad floating around online, on Instagram, that has me… AI mouthed, saying all kinds of stuff.”

Goldberg noted that she “doesn’t sell anything unless I say, ‘Hey, it’s me, Whoopi.’ That’s how you know it’s me.”

The EGOT legend said they took an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning and “melded it” to have her sell “bad weight loss drugs.”

“Do not indulge in this,” Goldberg told viewers at home. “Do not look at this. Just get rid of it because I don’t know what it is. I had nothing to do with it, and I don’t want y’all thinking that this is coming from me. I told you what I did. I was upfront. I don’t have any reason to go sell some other stuff. I told you how I got my Mounjaro. I used Mounjaro, which is what I did.”

She continued, “I don’t know who these people are. That’s the problem with AI. You don’t know who made it. But I’m telling you, it’s a lot of BS; do not fall for it. And if you hear someone say, ‘Whoopi said…,’ you can say to them, ‘No! She just told me that is not correct.'”
