‘The Villains of Valley View’ Canceled By Disney Channel After 2 Seasons

Disney Channel has officially canceled The Villains of Valley View ten months after the live-action comedy’ second season ended its run on the network. Chris Peterson, who co-created and executive produced the series with Bryan Moore, shared the news on X.

“While it was never our intention to end the series on a cliffhanger, we hope that Amy, Hartley and the Maddens will live on in your hearts (and on Disney+) forever,” Peterson wrote in his message to fans. (You can read it in full below.)

Disney Branded Television has been overhauling Disney Channel’s lineup of live-action sitcoms. Over the past year, a number of series came to an end, including Bunk’d, Raven’s Home and Secrets Of Sulphur Springs. The Villains of Valley View was the last remaining ongoing live-action comedy, with the first one under the new programming direction, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, set to debut later this month.

The Villains of Valley View centers around teenage supervillain Havoc (Isabella Pappas) who stands up to the head of the League of Villains. She and her family are forced to change their identities and relocate to a sleepy Texas suburb. With the help of her effervescent new neighbor Hartley (Kayden Muller-Janssen), Havoc — going incognito as Amy — must somehow hide her superpowers and quell her villainous nature in favor of something she and the rest of her family have fought against all their lives: being normal.

In addition to Pappas and Muller-Janssen, the series’ series regular cast includes Lucy Davis as Eva/Surge, James Patrick Stuart as Vic/Kraniac, Malachi Barton as Colby/Flashform and Reed Horstmann as Jake/Chaos.
