Sundance Head was rushed to the hospital after being shot on his Texas ranch. The 46-year-old singer, who won season 11 of The Voice and was a semi-finalist on season 6 of American Idol, suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach on Friday (November 15), according to TMZ. The singer’s agent confirmed that Sundance was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Tyler, Texas following the incident. Keep reading to find out more… Sundance is thankfully in stable condition, but TMZ notes that his wife Misty is asking fans for prayers during this time. Sundance was the one to call 911 after being shot and it appears the shooting was an accident. It’s believed that he was on a hunting trip at the time of the incident. Thankfully the bullet missed the singer’s organs and was lodged in a fatty area of his stomach. Several other The Voice and American Idol contestants appeared on both of the shows.
