The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) announced that they had officially signed with AEW.
The Von Erichs had a prominent run in AEW/ROH in the summer of 2024, as they teamed up with Dustin Rhodes to win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. They later wrestled at AEW All In.
Speaking on their The Claw Pod, Marshall Von Erich announced that the duo had signed with AEW.
“Today, on this day, we can officially say that Ross and Marshall Von Erich are officially signed with AEW,” he said. “The 12-year journey, it’s not an expensive hobby anymore.
Ross went on to say, “This is kind of the thing I feel like we’ve been working towards our whole careers. We knew it would be on a big, major scale, and this meets every parameter of that. They’re going all over the world, they were in Tokyo the other day, and were in the UK last year.
“It means a lot for the Von Erich family, and it means a lot for, not to kiss Tony’s butt, but he kind of singlehandedly is keeping the Von Erich name, the Von Erich dream alive for us at this point. He’s gonna have our loyalty forever because of that. More than anything, we’re super excited for this day, we’ve dreamt about [it] for so long, it’s finally here.”
The Von Erichs have not wrestled on AEW/ROH programming since September due to an injury to Marshall.
