The Weeknd just launched his new album Hurry Up Tomorrow and the music is also the inspiration for his upcoming movie of the same name. In the film, a musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence. Barry Keoghan and Jenna Ortega also star in the film, which was directed and co-written by Trey Edward Shults. The psychological thriller will hit theaters on May 16. A trailer for the movie is expected to be released this week amid the success of his new album and the announcement of the After Hours Til Dawn tour. The album Hurry Up Tomorrow concludes a trilogy that started with 2020′s After Hours. He recently opened up about retiring his alter ego.
