EXCLUSIVE: Tayme Thapthimthong, a series regular in the Thailand-set third season of HBO’s The White Lotus, has signed with Artist International Group for management.
Thapthimthong will be repped at AIG by Chris Prapha and Deanna Russo Clark, who work with the likes of Michelle Yeoh, Anil Kapoor and Jonathan Rhys Myers. He also just signed with Independent Talent Group in the UK, along with Platform Public Relations.
A London-born actor of Thai descent, Thapthimthong’s role in the highly anticipated third season of The White Lotus is being kept under wraps. But he stars alongside Season 1’s Natasha Rothwell, along with Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and other newcomers. The new season of the Mike White-created series is expected to launch in 2025.
Thapthimthong embarked on a career as an actor after studying the performing arts at Kensington University. Among his other credits is the Swedish-Thai crime drama series, Farang. Before venturing into acting, he served as an infantryman in the Royal Thai Army and worked as a Physical Training instructor for the Thai Army’s Counter Terrorist unit. He later on worked at the Armed Forces Security Center, Thailand’s CIA equivalent, before going on to work in private security.
