The Young Bucks are moving on to AEW Dynasty, while Best Friends imploded.

During the April 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks battled Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta of Best Friends in an AEW World Tag Team Championship tournament semi-final.

At one point, Best Friends nearly scored the win with a TK Driver. Beretta went for the cover, but the other Jackson brother broke it up. Nicholas then went on a Superkick Party to Beretta, Cassidy, and Chuck Taylor at ringside before he stopped himself from kicking Sue.

Sue slapped Matthew across the face before Cassidy attacked him from behind. Back inside, Beretta landed a package driver but Nicholas saved it again. In the end, Matthew managed to sling Beretta into an exposed turnbuckle to set up the pinfall victory.

After the bout, Beretta and Cassidy went for their signature Best Friends hug when Beretta hit Cassidy with a running knee strike instead.

As a result, The Young Bucks are now moving on to the finals, which will take place at AEW Dynasty on April 21. The other semi-final bout featuring FTR vs. Top Flight will take place on the April 6 Collision to determine The Young Bucks’ opponents in St. Louis.

WrestleZone will continue to provide coverage of the AEW World Tag Team Championship tournament as it unfolds.
