Tottenham have made three signings so far in the summer transfer window.
The North Londoners have signed Timo Werner on another loan deal, midfielder Archie Gray have been signed from Leeds United and winger Yang Min-hyeok has been signed, who will join the club in January.
Ange Postecoglou is determined to add more players to his squad in order to challenge for a top four finish in the league again.
Spurs lost out against Aston Villa on a top four finish last season and they would be hoping to change that in the next campaign.
The manager has been backed by the club’s owners and they will continue to do so.
Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has claimed that Spurs are looking to make two or three more signings this summer.
Bridge particularly mentioned that the North London club are interested in signing Aston Villa player Jacob Ramsey.
“I don’t think there’s an actual set number [of signings] just yet, and they’re very quiet with how they do their business. I think they’re still looking for about two or three first team players to come into the squad,” Bridge told GiveMeSport.
Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey to Tottenham?
“There is interest in Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, but there’s been nothing further from that, just interest, with potentially Giovani Lo Celso going to Aston Villa. But, there is nothing on that in terms of anything going forward.”
It looks like a certainty that Tottenham will sign another midfielder this summer and it could be Ramsey from Aston Villa.
A potential swap deal is possible between Spurs and Aston Villa, who are interested in signing Lo Celso from the Lilywhites.
Tottenham should target a move for a striker this summer
The other position that Spurs could strengthen is the attacking department. They had to use Son Heung-min and Richarlison upfront last season.
A presence of a natural number nine is needed in attack and the right player in that position can take the club to the next level.
They need a replacement of Harry Kane at the club and their failure to do so could cost them dearly next season.
