You can see how some of them have changed over the years, but occasionally one of them will come to an end. There are a variety of ways to make that work, and now it has happened again, albeit in a way that you do not see happen very often.

This week’s edition of AEW Rampage was the series finale, with the show coming to an end after just over three years. The show ended with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and the Death Riders storming the television production truck, where Moxley pulled the plug on the show. AEW President Tony Khan had previously announced that this would be the last edition of the show.

Opinion: That’s certainly a unique way to wrap up a series and it made things a bit more interesting than the usual series. Hopefully the show is fondly remembered, as there were quite a few stars who worked very hard to put on an entertaining show. It wouldn’t surprise me to see a similar show pop up for AEW, but for now it is going to be going away, which does free up some of the pressure on the promotion.
