Bologna made a big announcement this Thursday about their coach Thiago Motta.

As expected for several days, Thiago Motta will indeed leave his position as coach of Bologna at the end of the season. The Italian team, third in Serie A with one day remaining, announced the news this Thursday via a press release published on social networks.

“This morning, Thiago Motta informed the club of his intention not to renew his contract with Bologna FC 1909. Having taken note of the decision, the club thanks the coach for the extraordinary work he has accomplished and wishes good luck for the rest of his career »we can read in particular.

Thiago Motta expected at Juventus Turin

The former PSG midfielder should become the new technician at Juventus Turin, where he will take over from Massimiliano Allegri, recently fired by the Old Lady. The transfer window specialist, Fabrizio Romano, recently announced that everything was complete for his arrival in Piedmont.

After a historic season, Thiago Motta is set to qualify Bologna for the upcoming Champions League campaign. Before his arrival at the head of the Rossoblu in 2022, the ex-Italian international was on the bench of the U19 of PSG, Genoa and Spezia.
