After two victories in its group of the football tournament of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Thierry Henry’s French team is rotating for its third match against New Zealand, this Tuesday in Marseille.

Thierry Henry had promised to change almost everything, and he has done so. Three days after a 1-0 victory against Guinea, the French team is playing its third and final match in Group A of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games football tournament, this Tuesday (7 p.m.) at the Stade Vélodrome, against New Zealand. Les Bleus are not officially qualified for the quarter-finals, but a single point would allow them to finish top of the group.

With only 18 players in the squad, two players continue in the starting eleven: Castello Lukeba and Jean-Philippe Mateta. The central defender trained at OL is associated with Soungoutou Magassa in the hinge, while the Crystal Palace striker, in difficulty in the first two matches, recovers the captain’s armband from “Laca” to play with Arnaud Kalimuendo and Rayan Cherki. The latter did not come into play in the first two matches.

Thierry Henry integrates two reservists

Obed Nkambadio, the Paris FC goalkeeper, takes over from Guillaume Restes in goal. Chrislain Matsima, Johann Lepenant, Andy Diouf and Désiré Doué also start this match, which can be followed on France 3 and Eurosport 2. Diouf and Matsima have been recalled and temporarily included in the squad to replace Enzo Millot and Manu Koné, who are slightly injured.
