With Lionel Messi unable to receive his Best Men's FIFA award for 2023 in person, Henry was on hand to accept his latest trophy on his behalf.

The Inter Miami star is currently training in America ahead of the new MLS season which kicks off next month.

And Henry saw this as the perfect opportunity to mock Tottenham, who haven't won a major trophy since lifting the League Cup in 2008.

Addressing those in the audience, Henry said: "Unfortunately the winner is not with us tonight.

"So someone is going to have to take the trophy. I might, shall I? I mean, I came."

Turning to Chowdhury, he then cheekily added: "I actually have two reasons for taking it.

"I never won it so I’ll keep it and you’re a Tottenham fan right [Reshmin]?

"That’s the other reason, because you don’t usually get your hands on the trophy so I’ll take this one. Thank you very much.”
