Thierry Henry is fixed. The Bleuets coach will reveal his pre-list for the Paris 2024 Olympic tournament next Monday.

Tick-tock, tick-tock… If Didier Deschamps has already revealed the group of 25 Blues selected for Euro 2024 (from June 14 to July 14), another list is now eagerly awaited: that of the Espoirs who will compete in the 2024 Olympics (from July 24 to August 9). But the suspense will be short-lived since the FFF announced on Wednesday that Thierry Henry will announce his selection on Monday June 3, at 11 a.m.

This will not be the final list for the Paris 2024 Olympic tournament but a pre-list, indicates the French Football Federation. The summoned players will participate in a preparation course from June 16 in Clairefontaine, with three friendly matches on the program for the Bleuets: against Paraguay, the Dominican Republic and Japan (July 4, 11 and 16).

Kylian Mbappé in Thierry Henry’s list?

Before the Games kick off, Thierry Henry will have to decide by retaining only 22 players, four of whom will be reserves. Among them, the former Arsenal striker will be able to call three elements aged over 23, whom their clubs will agree to release for this competition, not included in the FIFA calendar. Will one of them be Kylian Mbappé? The suspense remains…

The probable future Real Madrid striker has already announced his desire to play in the Olympics, at home in Paris, and he can count on strong support, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron. A head of state who recently tried to convince Florentino Perez, the boss of the Merengue club, to release the former Bondy prodigy this summer. A vain attempt, a priori.
