Having arrived at the Cordoba club this summer, Théo Zidane is going through a difficult time in Andalusia.
A page has turned this summer. For the first time in more than two decades, no Zidane is playing at Real Madrid. Consequence of the departure of Théo Zidane, who had been playing for several seasons with Castilla. Released by the merengue club, the 22-year-old midfielder has signed with Cordoba, recently promoted to the Spanish D2.

A start in four matches
But Théo Zidane’s debut in Cordoba has been complicated to say the least. Both collectively and on a personal level. The newly promoted Andalusian club has been struggling since the start of the season. After four matches, the club has not won a single match and with two meager draws for two defeats, it is at 21e championship place, out of 22 teams.
On Saturday, Cordoba could do no better than 0-0 in the derby against Malaga, and Théo Zidane, watched by his parents and his older brother Luca, had to settle for a place on the bench, only coming on in the 82nd minute.e minute. And the former U20 international’s stint almost ended short as he narrowly escaped being sent off just five minutes after coming on as a substitute following a rough intervention.
In four matches, he has only started once and is struggling to show his best and meet the expectations placed on him.
