We know a little more about the short-term intentions of Spanish defender Sergio Ramos.

Agent Omar Zaalouk has confirmed that Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos is interested in talks with Zamalek. He is open to freelancing in the Egyptian championship.

The Egyptian giants are interested in the veteran defender, who is a free agent after leaving Sevilla over the summer. Zamalek officials have confirmed their intention to bring Ramos to Africa and Zaalouk claims to be in contact with the player’s camp.

Sergio Ramos still negotiating

He told AS: “I contacted Sergio’s agents and the player has no objection to coming to Egypt. The financial differences between the Spanish defender and the club are not very significant.

“The negotiations are not finished, they have simply been postponed until the end of the African Super Cup”he added.
