This is politics – Fayose reacts to photos of Reno Omokri, Daniel Bwala with President Tinubu

Isaac Fayose, a social commentator has reacted to the photos of key members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) meeting President Bola Tinubu amid rumors that they are likely to switch allegiance to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

His reaction comes after Omokri, a leading member of the PDP said in a post that he spent Independence Day with President Bola Tinubu.

“Spending Independence Day with President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa. May God bless Nigeria,” Omokri, an ally of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2023 presidential elections, said in a post.

Reno became the second PDP member to have met Tinubu after Daniel Bwala did early this year.

Bwala, the spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign in 2023 in January 2024 paid the visit to President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.

Speaking shortly after the visit, Bwala, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said he is committed to supporting Tinubu’s administration to succeed.

Reacting to the trends, Fayose said: “Daniel Bwala was Atiku’s Spokesperson during the 2023 elections. There’s no name he didn’t call President Tinubu.”

‘Reno Omokri was on social media, calling President Tinubu all kinds of names. He even organized protests in London against Tinubu. Now; Daniel Bwala and Reno Omokri have met with President Tinubu in the Presidential Villa.”

“Person no kuku dey visit President and come back empty-handed. Remember how you turned your friends into enemies because of last year elections. Have you smelt the gate of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa? That’s how politics is and I just say I should remind you.”
