The court order for a DNA test has finally been served to Omowunmi, the late singer Mohbad’s wife.
Gossipinfo reported that the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu had granted the order that Omowunmi needed to be served a notice of the pending DNA test application.
The legal team told the court that the Sheriff of the court had attempted twice to serve Wunmi the court process but failed and the Chief Magistrate then ordered that Wunmi should be served by posting the court process on her last known address.

Recall that following the singer’s death, many including Mohbad’s father have been clamoring for a DNA test to be done on Liam, his son to ascertain his paternity.
Omawunmi had made it known that she wouldn’t be doing a DNA test for her son. Giving reasons, Omowunmi made it known that no one has the right to tell her to do it.
Reacting to it, actress, Sarah Martins slammed Omowunmi, calling her a senseless widow, as she questioned why the mother of one was scared of doing DNA and pondered if she doesn’t want to clear her name and protect the legacy of her husband.
Similarly, actress, Charity Nnaji slammed Mohbad’s wife for not trying to clear her conscience and free herself from public disgrace. Tackling Charity, actress, Ifemeludike showed support for Wunmi, advising her not to be intimidated and to speak up and stand her ground.
Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Tolanibaj advised Omowunmi that if the DNA test proves that Liam is the son of Mohbad, then the mother of one should sue everybody questioning her son’s paternity.
In an interview, actor, Yomi Fabiyi defended Mohbad’s father’s right to demand a DNA test for his grandson. He stressed that Mohbad’s family has the right to ask for DNA as he noted how his father is carrying the burden of pain and wants closure.
