This must be a joke – Nigerians react as viral angry Alhaji gets top appointment with Tinubu govt

A viral northerner, also known as ‘Angry Alhaji’, whose real name is Umar Bush, has been appointed as SA On Entertainment to the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Musa, who is neither a musician or an actor, became an Internet sensation with his amusing angry videos where he’s usually seen chasing after a young boy in a bid to hit him.

The letter dated 13th July 2024, sighted by TNG, conveyed the approval of the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Special Needs and Equal opportunities for Musa’s appointment as the special assistant on Entertainment.

Musa’s task according to the letter, is to manage media promotion and ensure good public relation, and facilitate entertainment initiatives for the office.

Many Nigerians on social media have faulted the appointment of Musa by the SSA to the president on special needs.
