The Terrifier series adds another bauble to the tree October 11, when the third film—read io9’s review here—hits theaters. It’s arriving timed for Halloween, which we already know is one of Art the Clown’s favorite holidays. But it’s actually a Christmas-set movie, complete with a blood-spattered Santa suit for horror’s monster du jour.
io9 is excited to debut this delightfully gross retro alt-poster for Damien Leone’s Terrifier 3, created by Creepy Duck Design. It gives you a little bit of festive cheer (snow, twinkly lights, a tree with a star), but mostly puts the focus on Art (David Howard Thornton), baring his teeth and clutching his well-used chainsaw.
© Creepy DuckYou also get a look at flame-engulfed Terrifier victim turned sidekick Vicky (Samantha Scaffidi), Terrifier 2‘s final girl and her brother (Lauren LaVera as Sienna; Elliot Fullam as Jonathan), and… yep, a bonus glimpse of Art’s pesky severed head, looking positively delighted with himself.
Terrifier 3 hits theaters October 11. Will you be celebrating Christmas early with Art the Clown and his chainsaw?
