Debts are piling up at Juventus. The Italian club announced nearly 100 million euros in losses after the first half of 2023-2024.

A little more than 95 million euros is Juventus’ net loss after the first half of the 2023-2024 financial year, indicates the Italian club. The ban on European competitions this season may explain the situation of the current second in the Italian Championship.

Last season, at the same time, the negative result was 29.5 million euros. To remedy these problems, Juventus will carry out a capital increase of 200 million by the end of April, continues the Bianconeri press release.

At the end of the 2023-2024 season, the Italian football giant expects a new loss after that of the previous year (124M as of June 30, 2023). The last profit dates back to 2016-2017, specifies Reuters.
