WWE NXT emanating from its home turf, Capitol Wrestling Center saw some interesting twists and turns during tonight’s edition of the show with three huge matches announced for next week.

Former WWE NXT Women’s champion Roxanne Perez was spotted to be agitated backstage about people coming in the way of her and fair opportunity at the top prize in the women’s division.

As she vented out her anger backstage in front of her peers, fellow NXT star Wren Sinclair tried to calm her down, only for Perez to slap her right across the face. Those events led to a one-on-one match announced for next week.

On the Men’s side, two of the rising stars of NXT will collide in a singles bout as Josh Briggs will step inside the ring against Brooks Jensen.

Finally, a high-stakes championship match was set in stone for next week. Following their face-to-face confrontation on tonight’s episode of NXT, the incomparable Lexis King would face NXT North American champion Oba Femi for his title.
