With the summer transfer window on the horizon, FC Barcelona are sketching out their plans to make changes to the squad before next season.

A top pivot midfielder is the utmost priority for the Blaugrana heading into the summer, but the Catalans are also looking for a new left-winger as well.

Nico Williams of Athletic Club is seen as a priority target while the likes of Dani Olmo and Luis Diaz have also been linked.

However, signing the aforementioned trio will be far from easy owing to the finances involved and the Catalans’ current economic situation.

As such, journalist Albert Fernandez reports that the Blaugrana are also looking at three young wingers as cost-effective options to strengthen the left flank.

Antonio Nusa

Just 19 years old, Nusa has already made more than 80 first-team appearances for Club Brugge and has become a sought-after prospect in the European transfer market.

Barcelona have shown an interest in Nusa, whose market value stands at €17 million, but there are a number of other clubs also chasing the Norwegian winger’s signing.

Another player who is in demand in the market heading into the summer, Desire Doue of Rennes is on Barcelona’s radar, along with teams like Arsenal and Manchester United.

The 18-year-old has made 76 senior appearances for the French club, 43 of which came this season in which he even racked up ten goal contributions. With a market value of €20 million, Doue is being seen as a possible alternative at Barça.

The final name on the list happens to be from Brazilian club Corinthians, with 19-year-old Wesley Gassova also said to be on Barcelona’s agenda.

The 19-year-old, with a market value of €3 million, has seven goals and five assists from 65 appearances for Corinthians, with eight of those goal contributions coming this season in 27 matches. He has a contract with the club that runs until December 31, 2027.
