An English football legend has announced the ousting of Erik Ten Hag, the current coach of Manchester United.

Manchester United’s disappointing end to the season could well cost Erik Ten Hag his place. After a difficult qualification for the FA Cup final against Coventry (3-3, 4-2 tab.) this Sunday, the future of the Dutch technician seems to be dotted at Old Trafford.

According to Newcastle legend Alan Shearer, United leaders have already made the decision to part ways with Ten Hag, regardless of the outcome of the FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 25. “The decision has already been made. He will be fired even if he wins the FA Cup.declared the former Magpies striker for EPL.

A contrasting assessment

Arriving on the MU bench in July 2022 from Ajax Amsterdam, Ten Hag was expected to breathe new life into the team. In his first season, he led the Red Devils to third place in the championship.

However, for its second financial year, the club is vegetating in the soft underbelly of the ranking, in 7th place, ten points from a qualifying place in the Europa League. The departure of Ten Hag, if confirmed, would mark a new turning point for Manchester United, which is struggling to regain its former glory.
