Current sporting director of Rennes, Florian Maurice would be in pole position to become the new manager of AS Rome.

After parting ways with José Mourinho, AS Roma has recently ended its collaboration with its general manager, Tiago Pinto. To replace the latter, the Roman leaders would have made Florian Maurice their top priority, according to Il Messaggero.

Sports director of Stade Rennais since 2020, Florian Maurice, for his part, indicated on Sunday evening at Prime Video that he is fully involved in the Breton project.

If I’m here, it’s because I’m 100% at Stade Rennais, he assured. Now is not the time to talk about my personal situation. I will give everything during the remaining months so that the club goes as far as possible in the three competitions. »
