Tiffany Stratton has emerged to become the fastest rising star on WWE’s main roster in recent memory much like she did during her tenure in their developmental territory, NXT. However, things went a little miscalculated for Tiffy Time during one of the best nights of her career.
The current SmackDown star who calls herself the center of the universe nowadays and Lyra Valkyria battled in the finals of a tournament for the vacant NXT Women’s championship at the NXT Battleground event in 2023. It became the crowning moment for Stratton as she defeated the Irish star to capture the title in one of the biggest highlights of her WWE tenure so far.
However, it was during that same historic bout that Tiffany Stratton suffered a slight injury in the process. During recent interview with TNT Sports, Stratton reflected on the match, which has been her longest WWE in-ring encounter till now, while being completely exhausted from the match.
Moreover, Tiffany also revealed that she had a bit of a shoulder injury, possibly sustained during the match with Lyra Valkyria, and stated that she really could not relish that moment due to the exertion from the match and also from the injury.
“I still like, felt like I could not be in the moment, Like I was like, Oh My God I so gassed right now and I had a little bit of a shoulder injury, but afterwards, I thought it was just like, it was so cool. But I also had a problem, which is kinda being in the moment and I kinda of was like, ok what’s next? what do we have next tuesday? So I really felt I never could really relish in the moment when I won the title.”
Despite a short setback, Stratton continued to impress the audience which led to her eventual call-up to the main roster few months ago. Moreover, she has already created a huge impact with her performances, especially at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE, where the fans aligned themselves with Tiffy Time.
With WrestleMania 40 on the horizon, we will have to wait and see if Tiffany Stratton would be featured in a major spot on the show billed to be, The Biggest WrestleMania of all time.
