More Details On The TikTok Reportedly Showing Erik Menenedez’s Beverly Hills High School Yearbook
Earlier this month, a TikTok user with the handle @itshannah_nothannah took to the platform to share a 26-second clip with the caption, “My moms yearbook is actually insane! #menendezbrothers”
The clip showed an apparent cover of a book titled, “THE YEAR AT BEVERLY HILLS HIGH SCHOOL 1989.” Additionally, the cover was modeled after an issue of LIFE Magazine and featured the dates September 1988 to June 1989 at the top.
As the clip plays, the user turns to a page featuring the year’s senior class. Additionally, the camera directly pans to a photo of Erik Menendez.
As the clip continues, it even shows a photo of then-sophomore Monica Lewinsky.

To note, earlier this week, the TikTok user returned to the platform to share a second video of her mom’s yearbook. The video featured footage of an apparent program from the school’s 1989 graduation ceremony and even showed photos of Menendez on the tennis court before ending with an image of the user’s mother.

The TikToker Shares More Details On The Yearbook
On Wednesday, October 9, Newsweek published an interview with the TikTok user whose name is Hannah Ellenhorn. According to Ellenhorn, her mother had explained to her that she attended high school with a few “interesting” individuals.
“When I learned who Monica Lewinsky was, my mom said that Monica went to her high school and showed me her yearbook photo. My mom also pointed out Erik Menendez and told me and my brothers his story,” Ellenhorn told the outlet.
Ellenhorn explained that she was young when she first saw the photo of Erik. However, she added: “…it was just kind of shocking to see a photo of someone who would later kill his parents. Now when I look at the photo knowing the whole story, I feel sad for him and for his brother.”
Furthermore, Ellenhorn noted that her mother did not have direct contact with Menendez in high school. However, her mother distinctly remembers a close friend of hers being romantically interested in him.
“My mom said that one of her close friends at school had a crush on Erik, so my mom would relay the usual information about him to her friend, where he parked, if she saw him on campus etc,” Ellenhorn said before concluding with. “I knew some people would be interested to see my mom’s yearbook, but not to this extent.”
Kim Kardashian Recently Made Headlines Advocating For Erik Menendez & His Brother Lyle
As The Shade Room previously reported, Erik and his brother, Lyle Menendez, made headlines earlier this month. At the time, Kim Kardashian published a lengthy letter via NBC News, advocating for their release from prison.
The brothers were convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents, Jose and Mary “Kitty” Menendez, in August 1989. The brothers were given life sentences after two trials. However, on October 3, the Los Angeles County District Attorney, George Gascón, revealed that his office received new evidence seemingly corroborating the brothers’ claim that they killed their parents in response to years of sexual abuse.
According to Gascón, his office is reviewing the evidence and will determine if the brothers deserve resentencing in their case.
Amid this development, Kardashian asserted that Erik & Lyle’s initial trials were unfair. Additionally, she shared that she believes the brothers would’ve received a different sentence had their case been tried today.
