TikToker Miranda Derrick, the subject of the docuseries “Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult,” said her life is now “in danger” following the release of the Netflix series.

“I know I don’t normally make this kind of content. I just wanted to be transparent and a little vulnerable with you,” the dancer, who is married to James Derrick, began her Instagram video Monday.

“Before this documentary, my husband and I felt safe. Now that this documentary is out, we feel like our lives have been put in danger.”

Miranda, 27, said she and James, 26, have been “followed in our cars, we have received hate mail, death threats, people have been sending us messages to commit suicide, and we’ve been stalked.”

She then shared some of the negative messages she’s received since the doc hit the streaming platform on May 29.

“Someone said that if I see you on the street, I’m going to come and get you so you better get security,” she claimed.

“Someone also said that, if I see you walking on the sidewalk, I’m going to come and shove you in the trunk of my car.”

Miranda said she doesn’t understand how her sister, Melanie Wilking, and their parents thought the documentary would “help” her or repair their estranged relationship in any way.

The documentary follows a group of TikTok dancers who are under a talent management company called 7M, led by Robert Shinn, a pastor at an invite-only church called Shekinah.

Former church members claimed Shinn allegedly demanded a significant portion of their incomes and isolated them from their family and friends. He has denied all claims and has filed a defamation lawsuit against several of his accusers in the doc as well.

Miranda’s sister, Melanie, and their parents have been desperately trying to get her out of the alleged “cult” after they lost contact with her in 2021.

Miranda denied being in a cult, writing on her Instagram Stories June 4 that she cut ties with her non-religious family after giving “her life to Jesus Christ in 2020.”

Though Miranda has been mending her relationship with her relatives, she said in her video Monday that she may step back from them due to their involvement in the documentary.

“I have been getting together with my family for the past couple of years, privately, to work on our relationship, to make things right, to mend what has been broken,” she said in her video.

“I’ve been loving getting together, laughing, just enjoying each other’s company. And this documentary has made it very difficult to continue doing that.”

“Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult” is now streaming on Netflix.
