Tillotama Shome calls out airline for ‘zero accountability’ and not offering solution after her flight to London gets delayed by 8.5 hours; ask, “Is this legal?’

Tillotama Shome, who is known for her powerful performances in films and series, recently faced trouble while travelling to London. Her flight was delayed by over 8.5 hours. Tillotama Shome shared the troublesome experience on her social media handle and slammed the airline for not responding to the crisis properly.

Taking to her X, Tillotama Shome revealed that her flight to London from Mumbai was delayed. Talking about Air India’s service, she wrote, “AI 129. @airindia flight to Heathrow. Delayed as of now from 5.15 am to 10 am. No message, no calls from the airlines to notify passengers of the delay. Upon contacting AI, all they can say is sorry. Zero accountability and no solutions offered. India’s official airline.”

The actor talked about the plight of other passengers who were also waiting for the flight. She mentioned how there was a woman who had been waiting for five hours since 2 AM as she had to fly to London for treatment. The actress also lashed out at the airline and mentioned that they had been waiting in the airport after their luggage was checked in. Meanwhile, on her work front, Tillotama Shome is preparing for the release of her upcoming film, The Fable. The film premiered at the 74th Berlin Film Festival and will compete in the prestigious Meeting Point Official Selection. The film also features Manoj Bajpayee, Deepak Dobriyal, and Priyanka Bose in key roles. Before this, she was recently seen in Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper and Kota Factory 3.
