Timo Werner to make debut as star duo return – how Tottenham could face Manchester United following incredible week

Tottenham forward Timo Werner is primed to make his debut this weekend in a new-look line-up away at Manchester United.

Destiny Udogie would then feature on the opposite side, with Romero to return to the heart of defence.

Postecoglou may decide against throwing Dragusin immediately into the deep end, and instead start Micky Van de Ven, who like Romero, has been battling a hamstring knock.

Despite not featuring since the 4-1 defeat against Chelsea in October, the Dutchman was on the bench for the 1-0 win over the Clarets in a sign he is ready to be called upon.

Uruguay international Rodrigo Bentancur could then start as a lone defensive midfielder, with Oliver Skipp and Dejan Kulusevski deployed in the free-roaming No.8 roles.

Werner may then start on the left wing as he had done for Chelsea often during his two-year spell between 2020-2022.
