Timothée Chalamet wears custom Gap — with nearly $80K worth of Cartier jewelry — at Oscars 2025 nominee dinner

Even Timmy loves Gap.

Timothée Chalamet has been treating fans to a parade a high-fashion looks while promoting “A Complete Unknown,” including custom creations from Chrome Hearts, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Tom Ford and more.

However, his latest getup comes from none other than Gap, designed by Gap Inc.’s Executive Vice President and Creative Director Zac Posen.

Styled by Taylor McNeil, the all-black outfit includes a GapStudio Icon Jacket in duchess satin and matching jeans as well as a Classic Tee in black silk jersey, per a press release from the brand.

The Cartier jewelry ambassador also accessorized with some bling, of course, modeling a chunky Trinity necklace worth $63,500 featuring loops of yellow, rose and white gold.

Chalamet, 29, also wore a diamond and onyx Les Berlingots de Cartier ring, which retails for just under $15,000.

“This look transcends fashion. It symbolizes heritage, legacy, and cultural evolution,” Posen wrote in the release.

“In the 1960s, Bob Dylan dropped an American anthem with ‘Like a Rolling Stone,’ and by 1969, Gap was selling jeans and records in its first store —two moments that shaped and bridged culture gaps for generations to come.

The parallels, the energy, and the synergy inspired me to reimagine GapStudio’s first men’s look on a cultural icon like Timothée,” he concluded.

It’s the brand’s first custom men’s look; however, Posen made a splash in the women’s world of fashion when Anne Hathaway stepped out in a custom white shirt dress — with her own eye-watering Bulgari jewelry worth millions — in May 2024.

The retailer quickly made the off-the-shoulder dress available to purchase for just $158, and it instantly sold out, of course.

While it’s unclear if Gap plans to sell Chalamet’s three-piece set, fans can assemble a denim version of the look with the brand’s Classic Icon Denim Jacket ($90 $63+), ’90s Loose Jeans ($80) and Jersey Crewneck T-Shirt ($20 $17).

With the 2025 Oscars set to take place this Sunday in Los Angeles, we can’t wait to see what Chalamet wears on Hollywood’s biggest night.
