Despite no longer being affiliated with WWE, it appears Vince McMahon is still following the current product.

TKO’s Mark Shapiro recently spoke with CNBC’s Alex Sherman. During the conversation, Shapiro revealed he recently had breakfast with Vince McMahon and that he “couldn’t have been more positive” regarding the current direction of WWE.

“He’s got some litigation that he’s working through, and frankly, he wants the privacy and the time to work through it which is great, because in the meantime we’re going to keep building TKO and WWE,” he said, later adding, “He couldn’t have been more cooperative. He couldn’t have been nicer. I mean, he was a total pro at breakfast, if you will.” [H/T: F4WOnline]

Shapiro also made sure to note that Vince McMahon, despite still being a shareholder, has nothing to do with TKO. McMahon also wasn’t asked for his opinion on the WWE product despite being positive about its current direction.
