To start off the night, Steph De Lander is backstage talking about PCO’s crush on her in the past few weeks. Xia Brookside comes along thinking the whole situation is sweet and tells her to think about PCO’s interesting offer.
Gisele Shaw finally makes her return to TNA Impact! and is now referred to as “The Quintessential Knockout” as she comes down to the ring to face Shazza McKenzie. Gail Kim watches the match closely backstage, after encouraging Shaw to make a comeback to TNA.
Shaw is off to a very strong start against McKenzie but gets caught on the apron looking to shut down her return. Shaw’s tenacity catches McKenzie and quickly takes control of the match. She hits McKenzie with a Springboard Cutter and then follows up with a Running Knee to score the win.
Shortly after, Rosemary is seen in a vignette seemingly talking about her past sins.
The TNA Knockouts World Championship is at stake as Jordynne Grace looks to defend her title against Allysin Kay. After her run-in previously with Kay’s tag team partner, Marti Belle, Grace has a score to settle with the HEX.
Before we get started, George Iceman announces the return of Ash By Elegance to be a special spectator for the upcoming Knockouts title match. Ash’s smile looks to be fixed after getting knocked out by Brookside a few weeks ago.
Kay gets the advantage over Grace on the early goings of the match. And the odds are too much for Grace as Belle gets involved. The match is now all in Kay’s favor with the help of Belle at her side.
Grace manages to come back, propping up Kay for a Muscle Buster from the top rope. Belle gets involved yet again, but Grace takes her out for her troubles.
Grace powers out of Kay’s arsenal and manages to escape the AK47. Grace then hits the Juggernaut Driver to pick up the win, with a lot of momentum heading into the weekend.
With this successful defense, Grace now sets her focus on NXT Battleground this Sunday where she looks to challenge NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez for her championship.
Despite if she wins or loses this Sunday, Grace will hold an open challenge for her title at Against All Odds next Friday.
