On tonight’s TNA Impact! the Knockouts are back in action tonight as we continue to set the field towards Slammiversary.
The show immediately kicks off with the TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, and she wants to address Ash By Elegance. Ash has been watching these Knockouts Championship matches and has been a thorn in Grace’s side for weeks now. After talking with Santino Marella last week, Grace wants to defend her title against Ash tonight.
George Iceman finds some loopholes in the contract and says that the title match will take place at Slammiversary. Ash sends the security after Grace, but Grace clears the personnel.
While Ash runs to the back, one-half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich, accompanied by Alisha Edwards is in action tonight against Xia Brookside.
Slamovich’s strength edge tries to get the best of Brookside early on in the match, but Brookside’s quickness and agility keep Slamovich off her balance. However, Edwards gets involved, and Slamovich gains control of the rest of the match.
Brookside finds an opening and tries to power through for a comeback, but loses the numbers game as Edwards gets involved again. Slamovich hits the Snowplow and gains the win.
Next, Lars Frederiksen has a final test for Spitfire to get back on track. And it’s their biggest challenge yet as he tells both Dani Luna and Jody Threat that they will have to face each other one-on-one.
TNA will have their next set of tapings tomorrow on June 28. Grace will issue an open challenge. Last time this happened, NXT’s Tatum Paxley responded.
