TNA confirmed it has been forced to reschedule two shows due to bad weather.

The promotion was set to hold two Impact tapings on the 27th and 28th September. These were meant to take place at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. Matches booked included The Hardys vs ABC, and Nic Nemeth taking on Matt Cardona.

However, these matches have been put on hold. Hurricane Helene looks set to hit the coast tomorrow, with Florida likely to suffer “catastrophic” damage in the storm.

With severe weather expected throughout the South East, TNA have made the decision to postpone the shows. The tapings have been moved to Sunday and Monday, when the weather should be less severe.

Tickets for the original shows will still be valid for the new TNA tapings. Tickets for the 27th will be valid for the show on the 29th, while tickets for the 28th will be valid for the 30th.

In the press release on their website, they wrote:

“TNA Wrestling confirmed tonight that it is re-scheduling the pro wrestling shows originally scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, September 27-28, at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. Due to severe weather forecasts throughout the Southeast, TNA instead will hold its Spartanburg shows on Sunday & Monday, September 29-30, at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.”

“TNA will announce the start time for the re-scheduled shows on tnawrestling.com and all social media outlets. Tickets for the Friday show can be used on Sunday and tickets for the Saturday show can be used on Monday.”

“Area schools also today canceled classes for Friday due to the weather forecast from Hurricane Helene.”

“Both Spartanburg shows will be taped for TNA’s flagship weekly TV show, iMPACT!, which airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on AXS TV in the U.S. and Fight Network in Canada.”
