The following matches and segments are from the June 21st edition of TNA Xplosion.
The show opens, unusually, with a match. Sinner & Saint take on Torero & Quintero in tag team action to kick off TNA Xplosion. In a short match, Judas Icarus and Travis Williams made up for their loss two weeks ago, and defeated Toerero & Quintero with a piledriver-dropkick combination.
TNA Xplosion then showed a “From The Vault” match. They replayed Gail Kim vs Taryn Terrell from TNA Slammiversary 2013 for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Guest referee ODB counted Gail Kim out, handing Terrell the win in this Last Knockout Standing match.
They followed this with “Around The Ring” with Gia Miller. She was joined by Jordynne Grace. The Knockouts Champion talked about her “horde” of cats and dogs she owns, and discusses adding even more pets to her home.
This was followed by the “In Case You Missed It” segment. TNA Xplosion replayed Josh Alexander vs Eric Young from last week’s Impact. Alexander won the match, hitting a C4 on Young before pinning him for the victory.
This was followed by the main event of Xplosion. Former WWE Superstar Kon took on Leon Slater, in a match that exemplified strength vs speed. Kon used his size to get the best of Slater, who had to pull out the most impressive high-flying moves from his arsenal to get ahead.
Leon Slater withstood a barrage of elbows to hit his 430 Swanton bomb to pin Kon and win the TNA Xplosion main event.
