In a somewhat secret ceremony, Tom Cruise was inducted on Friday as a Knight of the Legion of Honor by France’s culture minister, Rachida Dati, in Paris.
Cruise is filming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two in Europe,
The honor is one of France’s most prestigious decorations, presented in the past to Robert Redford, Martin Scorsese, and Clint Eastwood, among others.
Dati posted a picture of herself posing with Cruise.
