He said it on TV so might as well make it official. Sony just announced that an untitled Spider-Man movie, starring Tom Holland and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, will be released on July 24, 2026.
The news comes after a round of press for Holland, discussing his new non-alcoholic beer, where he was continually asked about Spider-Man 4. Finally, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he just said “It’s happening.” Now it has a release date though and it’s officially that Cretton, who helmed Shang-Chi and the and the Legend of the Ten Rings for Marvel Studios, is coming on board.
