Tommaso Ciampa was certainly one of the best things about NXT throughout his run in the developmental brand, but he has now become a mainstay of the main roster. With that said, he competed for the WWE Speed Title as well and has now revealed the nasty facial injury he received after the bout.
In today’s episode of WWE Speed, Andrade faced off against Tommaso Ciampa in the tournament finals, with the winner earning the opportunity to challenge Ricochet for the WWE Speed Championship.
The fast-paced three-minute matchup concluded with Andrade emerging victorious. He is now set to challenge Ricochet for the title on the June 18th episode. The match has already been taped in advance, and you can check out the spoiler here.
Tommaso Ciampa took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself after the match, showing off a brutal facial injury he suffered during his bout with Andrade.

Tommaso Ciampa simply enjoys the art of professional wrestling, so such a facial injury is not a big deal for him. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see how his tag team with Johnny Gargano will fare, since that’s his main focus now.
