Tommy Hilfiger says he hates seeing women in baggy jeans

Tommy Hilfiger can’t stand to see baggy jeans on women.

“I think they look terrible on women,” the iconic designer told us, “I want to see something form-fitting on a women’s frame. It should be more fit and feminine or little bit tighter in the hips,” he told Page Six.

Hilfiger was at the Old Bags luncheon at the Breaks in Palm Beach, Fla., to see his wife Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger being honored for her fashion and philanthropy.

The preppy designer told us that he enjoys the colorful fashion in Palm Beach.

“In New York we like to wear black,” he said, “My clothes actually sell better in Florida, California, Texas places like that. A lot of tourists are buying my clothes in New York and they take them back from wherever they come in from.”

Martha Stewart was the keynote speaker at the event, which raised funds for the Center for Family Services in Palm Beach County.
