Have we truly seen the last of Timeless Toni Storm?
All Elite Wrestling‘s Toni Storm recently spoke with James Dator of SB Nation and claimed that due to her recent losses in AEW, STARDOM, and CMLL, she has decided to retire from professional wrestling.
“I’m not used to being a loser,” Storm said, “I’ve failed at everything. I lost in AEW, I lost in Japan, I lost in Mexico. This is the last you’ll hear from me again. Enjoy Mariah May as your champion. You can all enjoy that. AEW is just fine without me. Everything is going well for AEW. They don’t need Toni Storm.”
When asked if there was anything she could change about her career, Storm pinpointed the moment that she met Mariah May.
“When I met Mariah May. I’d been on the top of the world for many, many years. I delivered,” Storm said. “Then Mariah came onto the scene and everything went tits up.”
Storm ended the interview on a very somber note, changing her trademark catchphrase.
“Chin down. Tits in. Don’t bother watching for the shoe,” Storm said.
Despite this announcement, Storm is advertised for an upcoming CMLL event on December 13.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more on Toni Storm’s status as it becomes available.
