Tony Khan says nothing has been confirmed regarding AEW‘s media rights, but the future is bright.

John Ourand of Puck recently reported that Warner Bros. Discovery was close to finalizing AEW’s new TV deal, which was said to be a four-year agreement in the range of $170 million yearly. The two sides have been negotiating for months, and Khan recently said that AEW was on the one-yard line at a crucial time.

“I didn’t bring my sunglasses to the Sirius studio today, but the future is so bright, I need them,” Tony Khan said. “The future is that bright. I know there have been a lot of reports. I have not done any of the leaking. With all due respect to the fine people at the Puck establishment and the Puck people, I didn’t talk to them. I know they have been reporting things that are very interesting. There are a lot of reports and rumors.

“I have not confirmed, and Warner Brothers have not confirmed anything officially. We have a really exciting future there. I can say with 100% certainty, AEW and TBS and TNT are here to stay for a long time.”

After AEW All Out, Khan discussed AEW’s media rights and said that he had not put pen to paper. He also said that he was very confident about the situation.

WrestleZone will provide more information about AEW’s media rights negotiations as it becomes available.
