Tony Khan Announces The Ranking System Has Officially Returned To AEW

Tony Khan shocked the All Elite Wrestling world on Saturday by announcing that AEW’s ranking system will be making a return.

The move was formally announced on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, and Khan confirmed the news on Twitter shortly after. He didn’t set an exact return date for the rankings, but did say they would be back “starting this month.”

AEW’s ranking system was introduced when the company was formed in 2019, and essentially kept track of how challengers for titles were determined via a system of tracking wins and losses. The last time the ranking system was updated on All Elite Wrestling’s website was in August 2022,
