Tony Khan isn’t confident that we’ll see a supershow between WWE and AEW anytime soon.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan was a recent guest on Maggie & Perloff. When asked about the possibility of a supershow between his company and WWE in the future, Khan wouldn’t completely rule it out and said in the next 100 years he could see it being possible.
“I can’t say ever,” Tony Khan said. “Anything could happen at some point. It’s hard to say. What’s the timeline? In the next 100 years, quite possibly.”
When asked if we could see something like this take place in the next five years, Khan was much less optimistic.
“That seems far less likely,” Khan admitted [H/T: Fightful]
While All Elite Wrestling has been open to working with multiple companies in its five years of existence, it wasn’t until recently that WWE opened the doors to work with other companies like TNA Wrestling. While a supershow at this time certainly seems unlikely, you can never say never in this business.
