Tony Khan has been busy, so he hasn’t checked out the Vince McMahon docuseries.

The premiere of “Mr. McMahon”, the Netflix docuseries about the former WWE Chairman, sparked plenty of buzz last week. The discussion about the show continues, as various members of the wrestling world are weighing in.

AEW CEO Tony Khan appeared on Quinn & Cantara, and he was asked whether he had watched the documentary. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)

“No, I’ve been so busy with football and wrestling that I have not seen that documentary. I’ve not gotten to watch that,” Tony Khan said. I’m mostly focused here on what we’re doing in AEW. I do love watching wrestling all over the world.”

Tony Khan also responded to one of the hosts who said that Khan “had to give him that” as far as McMahon’s contributions to wrestling. He said that he had never met McMahon, and he enjoyed being the challenger promotion.

“I’ve never met him and have never really worked with him,” Tony Khan said. “I have grown up as a wrestling fan and historian of the pro wrestling business, so absolutely, we love being the challenger promotion and trying to grow and build AEW from the ground up. It’s only been five years and we’ve done a lot in that time.”
